جنرال موتورز تستدعي "شيفروليه امبالا" لمشكلة في حزام الأمان

استدعت شركة "جنرال موتورز" الأمريكية 322 ألفاً و409 سيارات من نوع شيفروليه امبالا من طرازي 2009 و2010 لأن أحزمة الأمان الأمامية غير مثبتة بشكل سليم.

وقالت الشركة في رسالة الى إدارة سلامة الطرق السريعة الأمريكية إنه لم يجر الإبلاغ عن إصابات أو وفيات في الحالات التي كانت أحزمة الأمان فيها غير مثبتة بشكل سليم. إلا أنها ستبدأ، في وقت لاحق من شهر أكتوبر (تشرين الأول) الجاري، مطالبة مشتري السيارة امبالا بتسليمها الى الموزعين للفحص والإصلاح إذا اقتضت الحاجة مجاناً.
