Iraqi PM seeks support from Egypt

Iraq's prime minister says he will ask neighboring states to participate in a wide-scale reconstruction program in his country if he secures a second term in office.

Nouri al-Maliki made the comments Wednesday after talks in Cairo with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

He did not elaborate on his reconstruction plan, but said he and Mubarak discussed efforts to form a new government in Iraq.
