Hillary Clinton on Mubarak

On Wednesday, United States Secretary of State Hilary Clinton has said she hoped that former President Hosni Mubarak will conduct the highest standard trial in August for the killing of protesters during the uprising against his rule.

Egypt's military rulers have promised free elections and civilian rule. But have face criticism from rights groups after trying hundreds of civilians in military courts and maintaining a state of emergency that gives the authorities sweeping powers of search and arrest.
