In the deserts of Benghazi, Libyan women are being empowered in a whole new way.
These women are being recruited by Libyan rebel soldiers, training to fight with various weapons, in the ongoing defiance against leader Muammar Qaddafi.
Since the uprise began in Libya mid-February, women have become more involved in the demonstrations.
They're not only fighting for their country but for gender rights.
