Israeli Soldiers Terminate Palestinian Anti-Settlement Protest

In the West Bank village of Deir Kidees, Israeli soldiers detained two Palestinians on June 15.

The residents protested against construction work near the settlement of Nili in the West Bank.

Israeli soldiers used tear gas to disperse the protesters, who attempted to stop a bulldozer from working close to the Palestinian village.

Protesters, together with some Israeli peace activists were reported to have thrown stones at the soldiers.
