Vegetable Inspired Weaponry

Homs is not only known for its protests, but also for the humor of its residents. Hardly a day goes by without Syrians sharing anecdotes about the people of Homs, who are known as Al Hamasna.

Resident of Homs are especially adept at using humor to brighten their daily lives, which are now affected by violence and violence.
Because they thought word of mouth wasn’t good enough, the people of Homs have spread their humor to the pages of Facebook, and are now filming their comic sketches.

YouTube is filled with pranks that the Hamasna come up with, such as dodging security while shooting off fireworks, as response to being accused of being members of an armed gang of protesters. Other sketches include presenting security guards with an arsenal of vegetable- inspired weaponry, such as zucchini bombs, machine guns that expel okra as bullets, and eggplant hand grenades.

Al Hamasna have created fan pages and groups on several social network sites.
