Egypt IM on Trial

The trial of former Egyptian Interior Minister, Habib Al-Adli, and his aides, charged with the death of protestors during the January 25 revolution, resumes on July 25 in Cairo in a public hearing broadcast live on television.

During the hearing that will be broadcast live on TV, it is expected that judge Adel Abdel Salam Gomaa, will officially relegate al-Adli case to Court Counselor Ahmed Fahmy Refaat which will affiliate it with the cases against former President Hosni Mubarak, his sons Alaa and Jamal, and businessman Hussein Salem, for killing protestors, illicit profiteering and corruption.
