From the Gulf News: UAE ranks 27 in World Economic Forum report
The UAE has been ranked 27th in the world in the Global Competitiveness Report issued by the World Economic Forum (WEF), it was announced yesterday.
According to Abdullah Lootah, secretary-general of the Emirates Competitiveness Council, the UAE has been ranked among the top ten countries in more than 20 indicators of competitiveness globally, and has reached an advanced position among the 142 countries surveyed in the report.
