From al-Masry al-Youm: Govt agency gave LE16.8 million to organizations run by Mubaraks

The cabinet's Social Development Fund allocated millions of Egyptian pounds to organizations run by former First Lady Suzanne Mubarak and her son Gamal, documents obtained by Al-Masry Al-Youm reveal.

The payments were made even though the organizations were not among the recipients targeted by the fund.

Suzanne Mubarak's Heliopolis Association, and Gamal's Future Generation Foundation (FGF) obtained grants worth LE16.8 million during the period 2006-2009.
