The World Economic Forum (WEF) has confirmed that it will hold a session at the Dead Sea Oct. 21-23.
A press statement e-mailed to The Jordan Times by the forum on Monday said that the Special Meeting on Economic Growth and Job Creation in the Arab World, which will be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah, will bring together over 800 participants from more than 50 countries, and will address an array of regional and international issues.
As quoted in the statement, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) Nasser Lozi said Jordan’s hosting of the WEF session for the sixth time “confirms its role in placing regional, economic and developmental issues at the top of the global challenges agenda”. KAFD is the forum’s local partner.
