Al Arabiya unveiled exclusive details about the killing of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in a documentary, the first part of which was aired on Friday, while the second part will be aired on Nov. 25.
The documentary entitled ‘The Day Osama Bin Laden Was Killed’ includes attention-grabbing details about the May killing of al-Qaeda chief in a special operation by a U.S. Navy SEALs raid on his compound near the Pakistani capital Islamabad.
The film contains rare footage, aired for the first time, in addition to some exclusive security information, including comments by President Barack Obama, who revealed the details of the operation for the first.
Obama talked about the hardships that faced the operation and the final decision-making that led to the eventual killing of Bin Laden, followed by the throwing of his dead body in the sea.
‘The Day Osama Bin Laden Was Killed’ is one of a series of documentaries aired exclusively by Al Arabiya this year.
