Chants of freedom: The year Arab protesters rallied for their revolutions
If actions speak louder than words, protesters across the Arab world have proven otherwise. This year’s Arab Spring gave birth to revolutions in nations far flung from one another but joined together in various slogans and chants demanding the ouster of their leaders. Yemenis clenched their fists while demanding reform, Syrians danced while chanting for freedom and unity and Egyptians used single words to speak volumes of their demands. The brave men and women demonstrators stood together and never stopped chanting for change. Here we look back to pay homage to their words.
