Maradona hospitalized in emergency in Dubai

Diego Maradona, Argentine football legend and current manager of the UAE football club al-Wasl in Dubai, was hospitalized in emergency after suffering from “slight complications from kidney stones,” his club reported in its twitter account on Sunday.

The club reported later that Maradona’s operation was successful and that he would be discharged on Monday morning.

“Maradona’s kidney stone operation was a success and he is now resting before being discharged from hospital either tonight or tomorrow morning.”

“Maradona watched the Shj vs Baniyas match from his room in the hospital straight after surgery & started planning for the next match vs Shj,” the club added.
