From The Jordan Times: Youth jailed for ‘undermining the King’s dignity’ pardoned

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday issued a special pardon for Udai Abu Issa, who was sentenced to two years in prison last month for undermining the King's dignity, a Royal Court statement said.

On January 28, the State Security Court declared Abu Issa guilty of setting alight a picture of King Abdullah that was on a government building in Madaba.
