A number of Syrians find shelter in Arsal, Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley after fleing violence in their home country. Many of them come from the city Homs and surrounding villages. The refugees speak of their escape and hardship while fleeing Syrian army attacks and the harsh winter weather.
Hundreds of Syrian families have fled into their neighboring country Lebanon in the last 24 hours escaping the heaviest shelling since the crackdown on protests against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad began one year ago.
