American Ambassador to Iraq James Jeffrey spoke to Al Arabiya in an exclusive interview on the U.S. policy in Iraq following the collapse of Saddam Hussein's regime.

He has worked for more than 22 months as a godfather of the American policy in Iraq. He lives in the shadows, but his decisions are often delivered to Iraqis in the form of messages or advice to the politicians and they carry no compromise.
