American Ambassador to Iraq James Jeffrey spoke to Al Arabiya in an exclusive interview on the U.S. policy in Iraq following the collapse of Saddam Hussein's regime.
He has worked for more than 22 months as a godfather of the American policy in Iraq. He lives in the shadows, but his decisions are often delivered to Iraqis in the form of messages or advice to the politicians and they carry no compromise.
Discovering his personality requires listening to him explain the pressing questions that were taken whilst in Iraq. We address our questions to Ambassador Jeffrey to forerun his intention to write his experience in his own biography which he intends to publish after his near retirement.
