Love comes in all sizes: shortest newlyweds in Jordan
Amid the attention of their relatives and the media, a wedding couple tied the knot in Amman, Jordan. Nader and Shirine are the shortest newlyweds in Jordan; Nader is 90cm and his wife Shirine is 110cm. Despite all the difficulties and social obstacles they have faced, the couple did not give up.
“I feel what every girl feels when she is getting married. It is a beautiful feeling and I am extremely happy. It was a great feeling when I saw the groom today,” said Shirine, the bride.
“I was searching for a job, to get married and settle down; the money was the problem,” said Nader, the groom.
On their wedding day, the couple was dancing with their guests amid the newlyweds’ humor and happiness. Abu Ali also known as Louai al-Samadi does not miss such events; he tries to convince people that little persons are like everybody else and that they can overcome all the social obstacles.
“This wedding is a message for the world in general and for Jordan in particular: Little people can get married. This is a five-star wedding as you can see. It proves that the problems of short persons are just hypothetical. I ask our friends and families to get rid of their bad feelings and intentions and try to help little people to get married,” Abu Ali said.
Away from the concerns of the persons of short stature, the newlyweds are dancing, without paying attention to any of their social problems.
