Year one A.D: The Middle East remembers Steve Jobs
Twitter users in the Arab world started posting tweets of condolences and quotes from the famous co-founder of Apple Inc. Steve Jobs as the world commemorates his first death anniversary on Friday.

One of Steve Jobs quotes in one of his Apple product release was tweeted: “It’s technology married with liberal arts, married with the humanities, that yields us the result that makes our hearts sing Steve Jobs” quoting one of Steve Jobs’ famous line.
Another tweet said: “In memory of the man who improved our lives....RIP Steve Jobs.”
Apple released a one-minute and 45 second video on their website on Friday to honor Jobs. The photo video shows the viewers the transition of Steve Jobs over the years along with his famous lines during launching of Apple products that he created such as the iMac, ipod and iphone.
At the end of the video, Apple CEO Tim Cook’s message appeared in a clear background.
“One of the greatest gifts Steve gave to the world is Apple. No company has ever inspired such creativity or set such high standards for itself. Our values originated from Steve and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple. We share the great privilege and responsibility of carrying his legacy into the future” an excerpt from Cook’s letter said.
Another page dedicated to Jobs was also set up by Apple wherein internet users can send in their messages of condolences over Jobs’ death.
One message said: “Steve, Thank you for sharing your genius with the world. The world is forever in your debt. Rest In Peace.”
Steven Paul Jobs succumbed to pancreatic cancer at the age of 56, exactly a year ago, and the world witnessed how great the effect of the Apple legend was. Social media platforms drowned with tweets and statuses of condolences and grief over the death of Jobs.
Earlier in Taipei, a full arena was filled with viewers as a 70-minute documentary entitled “Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview” was released for viewing in line with the death anniversary of Jobs. The documentary was already released in the United States in May, reported a news website in Taiwan.
