Introduction
The documentary 'Abdullah,' the largest TV production of its kind, presents many previously unrevealed aspects about the character of the Saudi King and Custodian of the Two Holy Shrines, Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud.
The program is divided to five parts that will air on Al-Arabiya News Channel beginning on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007.
A variety of Arab and international public figures - including U.S. President George W. Bush, former British prime minister Tony Blair, King Abdullah of Jordan, and Saudi Crown Prince Sultan - talk extensively about the King's upstanding character.
The film uncovers for first time details about the challenges King Abdullah faced, which threatened regional stability. His unwavering opposition to American indifference towards the Palestinian cause and the invasion of Iraq are amongst the most significant.
The complete script of each episode will be posted on Al-Arabiya's Web site. Pictures from the film as well as the episodes themselves will also be available online.
