A French-Algerian film that stirred a complete uproar before anyone had even seen is due to be screened in Tunisia despite legal charges it faces in France.

Dora Bouchoucha, the president of the Tunisian film festival Carthage Cinema Days, known by its French acronym as JCC (Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage), to be held on October 23- 31, announced that the movie “Outside the Law” will be screened in the festival’s 23rd edition despite the lawsuit filed against its director.
