Tunisia’s Moncef Marzouki denies exploiting the revolt
Opposition figure says he is “no stranger” to the revolt
Tunisian opposition figure Moncef Marzouki denied that his return to the homeland was aimed at taking advantage of the revolution that ousted President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali and insisted he had taken part in the struggle against the regime for almost two decades.
Tunisian reformist Moncef Marzouki, head of the outlawed Congress for the Republic, said in an interview with Al Arabiya TV that he was “no stranger” to the Tunisian revolution.
