Syrian military take harsh action on protesters

Amateur footage uploaded recently onto social media site YouTube shows various scenes which shows actions of the Syrian military in various towns, including the capital, Damascus. In the first scene, protesters are seen dispersed by armed forces, as gunshots can be heard. In the second scene, two men are seen apprehended for unknown causes. In the final scene, a mass of forces can be seen escorting an elderly looking man towards a police vehicle.
